Queridos familia y amigos:

Me voy, lo siento.
No encuentro mi lugar, ya no hay solución.
El silencio no existe.
No quiero seguir escuchando este latido alterado.
He elegido ser borrado.
El artista que soy debe ser formateado.
Quedará mi cuerpo, pero ya no seré yo, o talvez si, pero de otra manera.

El proceso

Proyecto de video-arte a partir de una experiencia performativa en la que el autor decide ser borrado de una manera simbólica y ritual.

Con la herramienta cámara borradora, se formatea el cuerpo que se diluye en el blanco, en el silencio. Un des-retrato que elimina la memoria del ego, la personalidad.

En este trabajo el cuerpo queda, de un modo u otro, despojado de vida. El borrado es una metáfora sobre la invisibilidad y la desubicación dentro de un sistema del arte que doblega sueños y asfixia la poesía. La pieza dibuja un tiempo en el que el ser se enfrenta a serias dificultades para encontrarse a sí mismo dentro del contexto socio-cultural que habita.

The process

Video-art project based on a performative experience in which the author decides to be erased in a symbolic and ritual way.

With the eraser camera tool, the body that dissolves into white, into silence, is formatted. An un-portrait that eliminates the memory of the ego, the personality.

In this work the body is, in one way or another, stripped of life. The erasure is a metaphor about invisibility and dislocation within an art system that bends dreams and suffocates poetry. The piece draws a time in which the being faces serious difficulties in finding himself within the socio-cultural context he inhabits.

The work is contextualized in a research project on silence.
